Hello, my name is Dr. Adam with Star Chiropractic. I would like to welcome you to my practice and would also like to thank you for choosing a natural way to health through chiropractic care. It is truly an honor and privilege to get the opportunity to serve you and your loved ones on your journey toward reaching your ultimate health potential. In order to fully understand chiropractic, and its importance for your family’s health, I feel it necessary that you truly know who I am, where I come from, and the events that shaped me into who I am today.I’ve had two major experiences that impacted why I became a Chiropractor. My father was suffering from low back pain which was progressively getting worse. His M.D. wanted to perform low back surgery for his painful condition. He than explored other options and found a chiropractor that gave him the help he needed and restored his health. This had made a big impression on my life and how our bodies are capable of healing themselves without drugs or surgery. Another experience was the passing of my grandmother from complications due to diabetes. A person has a choice to help control diabetes through proper diet and exercise. My grandma was a great listener with a warm heart and her passing was a great loss to our family. Since then our family hasn’t been the same. After her passing I vowed to educate people on how to live life to their full potential. I’ve learned that life is a precious gift and one must choose to lead a healthier lifestyle.
I was born and raised locally here in the Macomb Twp area. My undergraduate studies were done at Michigan State University and in 2001 I received my B.S. with a major in human biology. In the fall of 2002, I started at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. I completed my studies in 2006, at which time I received a Doctorate of Chiropractic.
My goal as a Chiropractor is to teach patients how to optimize the function of their nervous system so that they may live life to their fullest. I believe that a strong correlation exists between a person’s lifestyle, environment and health.
I enjoy traveling and spending time with my lovely, wonderful wife Melanie. I have a great passion for sports and enjoy weightlifting, rugby, basketball, and mountain biking. I look forward to serving you here at Star Chiropractic; together we can achieve your life goals.
Yours in health,
